You never know how strong you are, until you get in a little hot water.

Nora Roberts doesn't disappoint. Though her characters start out down on their luck, bruised, struggling, they NEVER stay that way.... I first read book one while I was at work. I worked in a jail and this was in the jailhouse library. I read through it in one twelve hour shift. I needed more so I came home and ordered the box set. I had to have it in my collection. The second and third of this series did not disappoint either.

Three sisters island collection by Nora Roberts

Nora Roberts produces a large amount of books. I enjoy her books because they are not overly complicated and easy to follow. She also will develop the main characters in a series of books. This collection features three women and other characters in a three book set - Dance Upon the Air, Heaven and Earth, and Face the Fire. The 3 women are brought together by a common bond, as they go up against an evil enemy. This collection is abridged and very enjoyable. Fantastic for a long journey and equally while running errands locally. If you have to stop the CD frequently, that's not a problem as the thread is easy to pick up. I hope this review helps you.

A touch of magic, a bit of romance, a legacy handed down through generations make a great read

One of my favorite Nora Roberts trilogies. It's for those of us who know there's a bit of magic in everyone and everything. A three century legacy culminates with six people who are tied by blood and friendship vanquishing evil to save their island from destruction. I like the characters, the story, the paranormal aspect, and the whole package. It's light reading. It's not perfect for everyone. For me, it's just what I need at times. I've read this series several times and am glad to have it in print, audio, and electronic versions. Again, not perfect for everyone and several may find flaws in the story. However, every time I read this trilogy, I end up believing anything is possible.
