Good ideas, but way too much jargon the author is trying to profit from through copyright and trademark. The jargon gets in the way.

It's incredibly boring and not insightful

Who's Engaged? Not me. This book is redundant as one could possibly imagine. It's incredibly boring and not insightful. The information is not succinct or flowing or even interesting. It might be the worst academic book I've ever read. Janet Pilcher has been an educational professional for 25 years and I'm sure she has some valuable things to contribute but she failed to make this attempt meaningful or engaging.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. This book is full of jargon, it does nothing but repeat itself, somehow manages to "speak without saying anything". And every time I come across yet another trademarked teaching method/phrase I get the distinct feeling that I am being taken advantage of in some sort of scam.
